Hades' POV

The priests were still waiting by the doorstep, expecting me to leave as soon as possible.

As I came out of the hall, I shot them a deadly glare and they took a few steps back. My eyes were a bit reddened as I hadn't received an expected message from the moon goddess.

Not that the moon goddess had lied to me about anything before now, but I didn't believe her this time around. I was losing faith. I was losing hope to get Brielle and own her eventually.

As I walked back towards my room, I assumed a beastly mood, not wanting to stare at anyone, so I wouldn't be moved to kill such. I wasn't in the mood to say a word.

My beta noticed from a distance and hurried inside my room, coming out again with the kid's hands clutched to his. I hissed and walked faster to catch up with him but he vanished out of sight.

He knew something bad could happen to the kid I'd care wasn't taken. I didn't know who was going to take care!! I wasn't going to!!! He has made a brave move to captur
