Brielle's POV
"Why are you waiting?" He asked, transfixed to a spot, "use the door. Didn't you want to?"His eyes were radiating furiously and I wasn't sure what his plan was, for me. Once I sighted his wolf morphing, I would hurry out of the room but his voice was calm, yet threatening."You wouldn't leave unscathed when I get to you," he said and began to approach me. I quickly turned the doorknob but the door didn't budge. Was I so daft to be unable to open a door like this?As he got closer, my heart beat faster and I became more aggressive at the door."Don't spoil what you didn't create!" He screamed at me, suddenly grabbing me by the jaw and pinning me to the wall. If there was a literal explanation of eyeball to eyeball, then it was now. I could look straight down his eyes as well as him. He chuckled softly when he noticed my persistent stares."I kept on but you stopped me. Even without my permission?" He asked, his tone laced with a mixture of calm and threat."I-I'm sorry," I apologized sincerely but I was being throttled, so my voice wasn't loud enough. It didn't have to be so loud as I thought, until he flung me to the opposite walls. I collided with my head on the walls before dropping to the ground, shivering and stuttering because of the mean look on his face as he approached again. It looked like a wolf about to turn a human unawares."Get out." He simply instructed but I couldn't move an inch because of the bruises sustained from dropping to the ground and colliding with my head on the concrete walls."Now." He said, "the maids should have given you more instructions. Do I have to repeat those words? They surely deserve to die but I'll spare them because of the asshole right here."I chuckled at that. Even though I was called an asshole, I saved the maids from being harmed, even if slightly.I mustered some courage when I remembered I didn't have anywhere to go if he sent me out of his room."I don't have a place to go, master." I pleaded, my voice shivering obviously. He ran towards his wardrobe which seemed eerie to me. I squinted my eyes at the direction and I could see silver bullet being loaded in his pocket gun. I didn't even know he had a pocket gun. I grinned, almost screaming for help and survival, as I ran out of the room, slamming the door shut afterwards. I heaved a deep sigh of relief after walking a few minutes, away from his room. I didn't know anyone in the pack. I didn't bother relating with anyone. I didn't even know what they saw me as. I wouldn't be let my bones get ripped out by someone who wasn't Hades, since Hades didn't consider me a victim of being ripped out.I could see an empty room a few metres away from me. I nodded my head to the idea of creeping inside and hiding there till there was some solution to my predicament. Immediately I got in, I bumped into a man which made me shut my eyes immediately. If I didn't, I might go blind because of the hard chest that would hit me so hard. I chuckled softly since I wasn't reprimanded.I raised my head and walked further into the room. When the door creaked open, I diverted my gaze towards the direction. It was Hades.I collided with my head on Hades' chest? And he didn't bother to reprimand me? It didn't sound cool to me. On a good day, he should, since he was who he was. I scooted my feet over to the direction he's headed and stood in his front. I knew I was placing my life on the line by doing so, but it was necessary to me.He growled after a few seconds and I sprinted backwards, instinctively. He walked away and I rested on my back till he passed me by. He didn't even bother to say a word. What could I have done? Was this how I would live my life as his mate, forever? No one else would welcome me to his home if I left here. I had no option than to stay until I found a way out of this mess.I suddenly felt a cold tap behind and when I jerked back to confirm the person's identity, it was a strange person."Hi. How may I help you?" I quickly stood, averting his gazes and avoiding his touch on my shoulders."I-I saw you lay on the floor. Thought some wolf bullied you," he said and requested for an handshake, "I'm the Wolf Training Team Leader. Would you like to..."He didn't complete his statement when I declined the offer, "I didn't come here for such. I would prefer training myself than being trained."When he shifted his gaze, I did, as well; and we both saw Hades again."Have you given them the medications?" Hades asked and he nodded in the affirmative. They both chuckled and shook hands while I kept glaring at Hades for a word to me as well."Hades..." I tried to call his name but he only continued his conversation with the stranger until I left without looking back. I was sure he was being intentional about pissing me off.Wait. Did I just say pissing me off? How could a black-hearted man piss me off? He bought me! What if he decided to play some tricks on me and I was only falling for it?I quickly scooted my feet back to where they were discussing as I slipped out my phone from my pocket, displaying some funny videos on the screen. The stranger chuckled as we both expected Hades to chuckle as well."I'll see you later," Hades waved at the stranger and left without looking back.Brielle's POV"Don't go after him," the stranger warned, "if he's not interested in speaking with you, I'd suggest you stay away from him.""Do you know how I got here?" I simply asked and he shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, "since you don't know how I got here, don't meddle with my affairs."After saying that, I hissed and walked away but I heard his response before I was out of sight."Same way I won't meddle with your affairs when he rips your bones out," he said and chuckled slightly. I shook my head at him and walked faster to catch up with Hades. As I almost caught up with him, he entered the room and slammed the door shut. He must have done that so quickly and deliberately. I sighed anxiously, directing my eyes towards the stranger but I rolled my eyes and walked towards another direction in the pack. If I returned to him, he would mock me for not obeying his words.Again, there was a room available and it was spacious enough but this time around, I did hope I wouldn't bump
Brielle's POVI held her hands softly, whispering into her ears, "be more quiet. Don't inform your colleagues, please."But she excitedly responded with loud voice, "it's goodness, madam Brielle!"Everyone in the room looked towards my direction suddenly, expecting us to say a word so their suspicion would be confirmed."Just keep quiet." I mumbled to the leader but she turned to face her colleagues as she let them in on the news. It seemed every word I spoke did invert before reaching her ears. Why was she bent on doing the exact opposite of what I said?I struggled to get up and shush her but one of the maids quickly rushed to meet me as she laid me back to bed while the leader began to speak."Madam Brielle is pregnant, guys," she said and they wowed at the news. It was surprising to me as well and I would be glad only if the father of the kid was my favorite. The only person that had ever slept with me was the ugly masked Alpha, same Hades, the well known sadist Alpha. Tears began
Brielle's POVMy lips shook terribly and I couldn't voice out any word. It would piss him off I remained like this, so I stretched the test result towards him."Check this," I said and felt his hands on mine as he retrieved it. He chuckled softly as he read the result. A sly smile played on his lips and his head was lowered for a few more seconds."Brielle, you're pregnant." He mumbled and a beautiful smile came on his lips which restored hope to my soul. I moved closer to the doorknob should the smile be a bait to make me stay in the room still."Is it for me?" He suddenly asked and my eyes scanned the whole room before I replied.I mustered some courage as I began to picture our kid, "I have never had sex with anyone apart from you."He growled slightly, "is it for me?""Yes, master." I responded, chuckling softly to ease the tension around me. My hand was shivering on the doorknob and it made some distracting noise which attracted him."Stop that and come closer." He said as his ey
Brielle's POVDifferent thoughts flooded my mind as the figure approached. I raised my brows and saw that it was Hades' Guard. I could still convince him. I chuckled softly as he walked towards me with a wide smile playing across his lips."Why are you in here? Who led you here?" He asked, extending his hands towards me. I grabbed the hands and stood up, sighing silently."No one. I just wanted to explore the pack." I responded."You could have asked your maids to show you around the pack. You don't need more than two of them. Don't stress yourself. Hades still needs you." He said and I began to suspect him. Hades needed me? Or he wanted me to move closer to him so he could get me killed without anyone being aware?I chuckled softly so he wouldn't ask why I took so long to reply, "thank you but I am fine here. I would return to my room very soon.""I won't leave here until I see you off to your room." He said, smiling awkwardly."Is Hades right there, waiting for me?" I simply asked a
Brielle's POVThe cars moving across the streets were suddenly becoming few. Fewer by the minute. I sighed anxiously at this strange place but one thing kept me moving forward and that was the thought of returning to Hades' pack being the only option left.I chuckled and crossed to the other side of the forest as I began to explore several trees and little creepies on the ground. Hardly had I stepped into the forest than I heard the screeching sound of tires. I suddenly looked back and a car had stopped right beside the forest. A girl was being throttled and forced to get into the forest. I hid behind a very big tree as I watched them, shaking terribly. They dragged her to exactly where I first stepped on and dropped her to the ground.I kept watching her, hoping Hades had masked my scent already so no one would track me, except for him. I didn't want him to track him but if my scent was accessible to only him, I was still on the safer side.A sharp knife, long and shining, was slippe
Brielle's POVNo one was trailing behind me. I already confirmed I was a bit safe. I just needed to creep down the pack over there. Hades didn't even mention that there was a pack not too far from his. Though I had to risk my life to cross the paths that separated Hades' pack and the pack over there, but I wasn't informed anyway.I could see werewolves walking around the pack, busy with a lot of activities and I couldn't wait to join them. I got to the front of the pack as hesitation suddenly set in. I never was hesitant until I got here, what could have transpired? I felt I shouldn't barge into the pack anyhow, so I wouldn't be turned into a slave or placed in some unworthy rooms to work as a maid when I actually had maids at a different pack.I sighed a burly man approaching and I suddenly hid. He sniffed the scent around him and was staring at my direction but I was perfect at hiding. He shook his head and shrugged before he returned to the pack. I quickly wobbled out of the hidin
Brielle's POV"No way." I gritted my teeth, trying to push him away but the security wolves soon grappled me from behind as they led me away. My legs kept hanging in air as I shook my body for release but they weren't going to hearken anytime soon. "Let me be!" I screamed till I got to the security unit. I was locked up in the room with two weird guys who were about to morph. I remained quiet so they wouldn't get annoyed and rip me apart. They might have been given permission to do so.Light flashed towards my direction and I noticed the door being opened by their master. I didn't see the burly men. Only plenty of men around me. They should be up to fourteen if I counted them well."What do you guys want from me?" I asked but the guy behind me lashed out at me, screaming at me to shut my lips."When next she says a word..." Their leader intervened, and slipped out a pocket gun from his pocket; he extended it towards the guy that lashed out at me, "...splash her skull across the wal
Brielle's POV"I'm certain the Alpha didn't request for me!" I yelled as they forced me to meet the Alpha. I was dumped in front of him and I lowered my gaze, not wanting to stare at him in the eyes. Who knows if his demeanor would be worse than Hades?"Raise your head." He commanded and I did so, immediately. He had the right to send me out of his pack, so I wouldn't disobey any of his instruction."You all can leave except my beta." He said and everyone left. When I stared back, I saw the burly man. My breath trembled. So the burly man was the Alpha's Beta? He surely must have informed the Alpha about it."How did you learn about me?" I asked, though I wasn't staring at him. When I mustered courage to look up, he was smirking and suspiciously licking his tongue. That sounded off and irritating to me."Where are you from?" He asked again."From a neighborhood pack. I had to escape from there because of the torture. I wasn't an Omega anyway. We were ambushed and..." I said but he shou
