Cat and Mouse - Part l

I wiped my tears and came to a complete stop on my path. When I looked around, it appeared as though clouds had descended from the heavens. The earth was covered in clouds, giving it the appearance of a blank page. If the fog suddenly hadn’t engulfed everything, I would have been ecstatic, but I was starting to feel uneasy.

In the middle of April, I was engulfed by fog, and the path that led home had vanished. I felt a shudder run down my spine as I looked around, attempting to figure out where I was or where the path I was on had vanished.

“Where am I!” The rustles of dried leaves and branches sounded from behind me as I wondered aloud. When I turned back, a hooded form appeared from the fog.
