That night, I lay awake in my bed. Tossing and turning. Him leaving made me fear the worst. What if he can’t return or worse didn’t want to return? What if something worse happens! I curled up on my bed, clutching a pillow to my chest. I was still waiting for him fighting the immense tiredness that threated to take over. I yawned as I checked the clock. It was almost midnight.
