We were seated in the movie theater. Don't ask me how I got to know he had bought a ticket for this. Alec kept warning me to stay away from him but how could I stay away from him when all I saw in those orbs of his was pain and fear. They were so gloomy that it thorned my heart and I could feel breaking for it. Was this how it felt to be mated? Feeling another's pain.

My eyes trailed down to his hands that gripped the edge of the seat. How cold they were when I shook them. I was tempted to touch them but I held myself back.
