I reached over and retrieved my phone with an exasperated sigh, it rang as if on cue, and 'boo bear' shone brightly on my screen. It was the nickname I had given him but he did not know. He had saved mine as 'Little Moon'. I have been dying to know why he chose something so different from the nicknames I know men call their women in novels but I have not gotten the chance to.
