Irina’s POV

When I heard Alpha Ivan clapping, I shuddered as the fear crept over me. I tried to back away but somehow he had a weird hold over me and I couldn’t get away from him.

As soon as he shouted ‘Shift’, my body began changing on its own. I didn’t like the way my wolf looked, how it was responding to Ivan's command, how a single word seemed to be able to control me.

Raine does not answer me when I ask, she is silent as the tears fall from my eyes. I could do little more than stare at Alpha Ivan’s back. He had me over his shoulder, an arm wrapped around my legs as my bound hands dangled when he walked away from the packhouse.

He smacks my butt, laughing “Just what I ordered”
