“What do you know Austin?”
He sneers at me; I want to punch him in the face but I needed answers first. I needed to know what he had discovered about my mate.
“You have no idea what they are capable of do you?”
“What are you trying to say Austin?”
He turns his head towards Irina and grins like a mad man “Death follows them everywhere”
“Don’t talk shit about things you do not know Austin”
“But I do know. Why do you think they live where they do? Why do you think your father invited Kelly to the war? Why do you think that dagger belongs to her?”

Forty Irina’s POV When I heard Alpha Ivan clapping, I shuddered as the fear crept over me. I tried to back away but somehow he had a weird hold over me and I couldn’t get away from him. As soon as he shouted ‘Shift’, my body began changing on its own. I didn’t like the way my wolf looked, how it was responding to Ivan's command, how a single word seemed to be able to control me. Raine does not answer me when I ask, she is silent as the tears fall from my eyes. I could do little more than stare at Alpha Ivan’s back. Damien’s POV “Irina’s grandfather?” Austin nods his head at me as my father looks away “He is still the Alpha of Blood pack” “Does he know of Irina’s existence?” “Most likely. There was a rumour that went around when your father and I were children. If a female from their pack shifts, all the males of Blood pack would know about it. He may not know that she is his grandchild, but he will know that Irina exists” “Why are you even telling me this? Damien’s POV The omega promised to keep me updated on my father’s health. I felt horrible for leaving but there was nothing I could do for him. His life was going to end no matter what, it might be days or even weeks, but his time would come. Austin came with a couple of bags packed and his car full of snacks. Damien’s POVWhen we land in Iceland, the temperature had already dropped. You could definitely tell that we were tourists with the way we were wrapped up in coats, hats and thick snow trousers. Some humans looked at us oddly but what I was most surprised about was the number of wolves that were here and news of our arrival spread like wild fire.Some of them welcomed us, while others gave us the side eye.Austin and I found a café and as we were sitting down a huge man moves over to us. It was obvious he was a wolf by his scent, but he was different to others that we had seen.
