Irina’s POV

He said it like it is a bad thing. He had raised me as his daughter, I had called him Dad and now he was speaking to Damien like I was some kind of disgusting abnormality, like I wasn’t even relevant.

“What is that even supposed to mean father? You have been sending me in circles with your riddles”

Damien continues to demand answers as I stand there trying to process his fathers words.

“She is the only thing that is keeping this pack from certain death”

“You wanted me to bring Irina home, you told me to go and get her”

“It’s to late Son, she has been marked by him”. He shakes his head and turns away, resting his hands on the window frame.

“Well I brought her home and like I said, the treaty is over father”

The old Alpha sighs “Then you will bring death to this pack, you are not strong enough to go up against Black Crescent”

As they discussed what was happening, the mark on my neck was beginning to sting. It was sore to touch, and I try to ignore it.

I bet that’s the reason Ivan has pointed teeth, it probably ttansfers poison to Irina so it becomes like this if she’s away from him. So she has to return to him to live. Or something like that?
