Chapter eighty six

Collin's POV

Excitement coarsed through me as the taxi moved towards my destination. Seeing Alessia's message saved me from the thoughts I was having, that had my mind spinning out of control.

I had that awful nightmare again, this time it felt so real and it was more about some group of people after me and the necklace on my neck. In the dream, my mother kept telling me to run and not stop.

The question is; what exactly am I running from? And aside Ashley's findings that this necklace is an ancient necklace that belongs to a long line of rulers. Why do I have it and why would people chase after it now, after all this year's?

My head aches everytime I try to think about it. There is an underlying story to all of this things happening. I wish I could get someone to actually explain it to me. My adoptive parents don't have any explanation to give. So, it's useless asking them about it.
