Chapter sixty six

Alessia's POV

I was all smiles as I saw Patrick off, this was the first time I actually did notice a genuine smile from him to. Can't believe the both of us have been choked by the so called relationship so far and we kept pushing on just to please our inconsiderate parents.

Didn't realize I was hopping my way back into the house until I heard my mum call me from behind.

"I see you both have finally resolved your differences." She teased smiling brightly.

Uncle Walter chuckled, "young love is beautiful, see how bright and happy she looks at the mere sight of him."

Mum did a dramatic sigh, "And here I was worrying myself over nothing, thinking you both actually meant the breakup. You should thank me for allowing him in, since you were hell-bent on sending him out of the house."

Just to make her feel really good about herself. I hugged her tightly, kissing her cheek.

"I have some assignments to do. See you all." I said hurriedly, running off the stairs before they pull me right back.
