“Do we have to go to this? Edward is so scary! I’m sure his mate is going to be scary too,” my brother, Max asks halfway to Mountain Peak Pack.

We are going to the Alpha Luna Ceremony for Alpha Edward and his Luna Monica. I trained with her at Blood Moon last year. She is pretty cool.

My name is Rebecca Gleeson. I’m eighteen and still unmated. I asked for a year to find my mate organically, before my parents throw a “mating party” and they agreed. I can’t stand the idea of standing there while Alphas, Betas, Warriors, even Omegas sniff me to see if I’m their mate.

I’m an Alpha’s daughter, of Green Creek in the Valley between Mountain Peak and Blue Moon. I have already been to Blue Moon, and I’m not fated to anyone there, which is just fine by me, they are kind of a loser pack. If Silver Creek didn’t protect them, they would be wiped out.

The Alpha, Christopher, is weak, and his son is near pathetic. I swear, if Alpha Jam
