Rebecca’s POV

“It’s Patty sweetheart, it’s Patty.” Ike coos, soothing me. I see him mind link and hear movement inside.

Sam opens the door in a tee shirt and pants. Not his usual nighttime ensemble.

“Patty wanted to stay after our date. I can’t say no to that little sister.” He opens the door and I see Patty asleep in his bed and a pallet built beside the bed. “She got scared in the guest room.”

I softened seeing him be a good big brother. “I just wanted to say goodnight and I love you.”

“I love you baby, see you two in the morning,” he kisses me sleepily.

Ike and I go to his bedroom.
