Chapter One Hundred and Sixty Five

Elena glanced at her phone and sighed. So this is how it was going to be, huh? Maybe hasn't called her once since he traveled to Australia as an exchange student.

She had expected him to call at least once, just to let her know that he has seen the school and was adjusting to the environment but he didn't call, not even sending a text message.

He didn't even bother telling his mom or, if he decides that he doesn't want to contact her directly, he should have told Silver about it but he didn't, or so she thinks.

She groaned inwardly and decided to swallow her pride. She had made up her mind not to call him or text him until he texted her but she has to do so before him.

She got up from her bed and decide to go downstairs. She should at least get Mom if she had gotten any texts or if Matthew's mom told her anything about Matthew's arrival or the way his school was.

"Good morning Mom," she greeted, cheerfully as she walked into the kitchen.
