Chapter One Hundred and Thirty Three

They got to the school and Elena got out of the car, scanning her eyes around the parking lot for Matthew's car and sinking her face when she couldn't find it.

"What's up? Looking for something?" Craig asked, looking at her.

"Uh? Nothing. Just wondering why the school's parking lot suddenly seem empty," She said quietly and closes the passenger door.

"Yeah ,it seems somewhat empty. By the way, have you heard from Matthew? I haven't seen him in a while and I'm guessing you probably keep in touch with him since you're close friends," He said, staring straight a her.

"I haven't heard from him. It's actually what I just thought of this morning," Elena said, avoiding his eyes.

She didn't want to let him know that she had texted Matthew and called him but hasn't been getting any reply.

"I wonder what he's up to. He missed some volleyball practice and might miss their big game coming up soon. I hope he gets over what is wrong with him. I can't have
