Chapter One Hundred and Thirty
"Mom, did Silver call?" Elena asked.
She had just woken up from her nap and checked her phone only to find out that it's already late. She had rushed out of her bedroom when she heard some voices downstairs thinking it was probably Silver and Gaby who were waiting for her.
"Honey, Have you got no respect anymore? Didn't you see that I'm with someone?" Clara asked as she and the principal stared at Elena with disbelief.
"Mom, come on! Just answer this question. Did Silver or Gaby call at all? Did anyone of them come here while I was sleeping?" Elena whined, ignoring the look on her Principal's face and her mom's reprimand.<

Elena jumped out of her bed as her alarm jolted her awake. She rubbed her eyes and saw that it was already daylight and quickly rush to the bathroom. She had gone to her room as soon as she spoke with her mom last night and quickly checked her texts, refreshing her messages to see if she received any text from Gaby or Matthew or Silver but she didn't see one. She plans to have a long talk with Silver once she gets to school to know why she wasn't called, not even once, to let her know that she won't be able to make it.
