Elena sat in the Principal's office , her heart boiling with anger as she glared at Sarah.
It was all her fault. She was the one who caused it. If she had not approached her, then she wouldn't be in this situation. She just wanted to find Matthew and talk with him, only to end up meeting the darn fool and her infuriating her.She turned her face away from Sarah, still seething and looked up to find the teacher staring at her through her glasses."Miss Elena? Are you alright? Didn't you hear the principal asking you a question?" The teacher asked, looking at her sternly."Oh. I'm sorry ma, I really didn't hear you. What's the question?""Please do not joke with me Miss Elena because I won't have any of your outrageous behaviors. and I hope you are aware you are in front of the principal and yet you claim not to have your mind on the discussion we are having with you.""I am really not trying to get on your nerves"So I'm only going to say this once and I'm going to make sure I won't repeat it. Why would both of you fight in the school premises?" she asked with a really serious look on her face and both girls could see she was really serious about it and any misbehavior she would have their parents come down the school and they couldn't afford that. "Starting with you Sarah, explain yourself,"she added. "We are really sorry for fighting in the school premises because we know it is not allowed but Elena over here attacked me first for no good reason and yet she claims that I'm the monster here but you can check the security footage we have here she attacked me first and she has not good reason to back it up." Syria said almost immediately she was rushing out the words because any minute she could forget them and her face was as cold as ever while Elena stood beside her waiting for her turn. "Okay are you sure that is all that happened?"the principal inquire
"Why were you so adamant on going home with Silver?" Craig asked Elena as soon as they got inside the car. Elena stared outside the window, trying to collect her thoughts and didn't hear what Craig was saying. She still remembered the look on Silver's face when she said she wanted to go home with her. She could tell that she was hiding something from her and that whatever she was hiding involved Matthew's disappearance from school. She took a deep breath and turned to face Craig to ask him why he hadn't started the car yet only to see him looking at her with a strange look on his face. "What's wrong? Why are you staring at me like that?" She asked when he still kept quiet for a while. "Is something wrong with you? Why are you acting weird? You've been acting strange since morning, what's wrong?" He asked, still looking at her. "There's nothing wrong with me, Craig. Why did you ask?" "You say there is nothing wrong with you yet I asked you a question some minutes ago and you did
"Oh alright. Well, it's best if I don't come in with you then," He said and turned on his car."Yeah. Bye , I'll see you tomorrow," She said and hurriedly ran out of the car before he brings up something else to discuss. She got inside the house and ran straight op to her room, not bothering to check if her mom was home."Elena! Is that you?" Her mom shouted as soon as she got to her room. She ignored the call and quickly took out her cell phone to dial Matthew's number.
"Mom, did Silver call?" Elena asked. She had just woken up from her nap and checked her phone only to find out that it's already late. She had rushed out of her bedroom when she heard some voices downstairs thinking it was probably Silver and Gaby who were waiting for her."Honey, Have you got no respect anymore? Didn't you see that I'm with someone?" Clara asked as she and the principal stared at Elena with disbelief."Mom, come on! Just answer this question. Did Silver or Gaby call at all? Did anyone of them come here while I was sleeping?" Elena whined, ignoring the look on her Principal's face and her mom's reprimand.
Silver and Gaby banged on Craig's door with a worried look on their faces. They had just rushed out of their car and were really worried after the call that Craig placed across to Gaby."Craig? Craig?" Gaby called , sounding really scared."Craig? Open up! We are here," Silver yelled.Craig jolted up from his sleep only to hear the sounds of Gaby and Silver yelling at his door.He stood up and walked closer to the door only to hear Gaby's voice breaking as though she wants to break into tears. He quickly the door and peered at them with a small smile on his face."Why were you yelling?" He asked, blinking his eyes."What happened? Are you alright,Craig? Why did you call me like that?" Gaby asked, staring at him surprised and peering behind him to see if something happened."Yeah Craig. You look okay for someone who ju
Elena jumped out of her bed as her alarm jolted her awake. She rubbed her eyes and saw that it was already daylight and quickly rush to the bathroom. She had gone to her room as soon as she spoke with her mom last night and quickly checked her texts, refreshing her messages to see if she received any text from Gaby or Matthew or Silver but she didn't see one. She plans to have a long talk with Silver once she gets to school to know why she wasn't called, not even once, to let her know that she won't be able to make it. "Breakfast is ready, Elena, come downstairs once you're done," Her mom yelled from the kitchen. She quickly rushed out of the bathroom and hurriedly dressed up, grabbing her bag and going out of her room. "Good morning Mom, "She said, walking past her mom and stretching her hands to grab a glass of water. "Morning love, how are you doing?" Clara asked, staring at her carefully. "I'm fine, what's with the look?" S
They got to the school and Elena got out of the car, scanning her eyes around the parking lot for Matthew's car and sinking her face when she couldn't find it."What's up? Looking for something?" Craig asked, looking at her."Uh? Nothing. Just wondering why the school's parking lot suddenly seem empty," She said quietly and closes the passenger door."Yeah ,it seems somewhat empty. By the way, have you heard from Matthew? I haven't seen him in a while and I'm guessing you probably keep in touch with him since you're close friends," He said, staring straight a her."I haven't heard from him. It's actually what I just thought of this morning," Elena said, avoiding his eyes. She didn't want to let him know that she had texted Matthew and called him but hasn't been getting any reply."I wonder what he's up to. He missed some volleyball practice and might miss their big game coming up soon. I hope he gets over what is wrong with him. I can't have
"There's nothing I can do about that, Elena. I have done what I can for you. A student is not allowed to leave the school while the school activities is going on. It's wrong and it'll be impartial of me to let you go when I refuse to let others," He said, after some time.He was right when he told Clara that her daughter and Matthew had something between them but were wrong in thinking they were dating.Matthew wouldn't leave without saying goodbye if they were dating, that's unless she did something to hurt him.Judging by the way she behaved, she probably did someone to hurt him. That's probably why she was trying to go and apologize to him."Please," Elena said, getting up from the seat and falling to her knees."Get up, get up right now. It hasn't gotten to that. Why do you really want to meet with him? It's obvious he doesn't want to see you. If he did he would have told you before leaving.""I just need to see him this last time. I promise I would do anything you say after this.
