CHAPTER FORTY-THREE
After the thunderstorm that shook the grounds of Hymir, leaving the kingdom damp. With puddles of mud and waters on its streets and excavations. An assassin had broken into the palace, as the people around the kingdom cower in fear of the approaching storm that would wreak havoc to the nation. "Your Highness, Lord Toiba wants to seek audience..." Morrigan placed the warm cup of fresh juice on a coaster as she flips her book. Morrigan CHAPTER FORTY-FIVE
Screams and a mixture of panicking voices inside the crown princess' chamber echoed all over the room and to the hall of the west wing of the palace. With guards dispersed at a safe distance to ensure the privacy of the princess and the women inside the room. All of them are deeply panicking as they see how the maids and servants run the long hall. Even the screams of the princess pierce their ears in a manner that it'll make one's hair rise. It was the day everyone is preparing for aside for the coronation of the crown princess. It is the time for Morrigan's child to be born in this world. Maids and midwives prayed for Fiachra's guidance for the safe delivery of the child and the safety of the mother's life. Morrigan who was blessed with a royal heir at such young age, delivering a child will be too difficult for her fragile body. With her petite frame, and her already sensitive pregnancy one would only hope for the best of survival for both mother and child.

Morrigan hissed as she shifted her aching body. She groans and moans in pain as she tried to lift herself. Everything in her body feels sore, and even lifting a finger is tiring for her. The feeling of her bones being broken a thousand times lingering in her body. Even with her aching body, she tried to endure it for when she woke up one thing comes into her mind. Beyond from the divider she has between the common people and hers. She watches as the new day for the citizens of Hymir greets them. The angelic voices of the children in the choir echo around the cathedral hall of the palace. Singing a beautiful song about the history of the kingdom. Everyone's eyes are watching the new queen as she walks the aisle towards the altar where a throne was set for her to sit. Everyone is in awe as they watch Morrigan gracing the long aisle. Dressed in fine garments of sophisticated colors of red and black, with a purple train stretching to her back. The colors of royalty in the kingdom of Hymir. Her beauty had always been envied and praised by the people, especially of the ladies her age. Morrigan's face is unparalleled in that she had been seen to be the incarnation of a deity. There was a deafening silence that enveloped the chamber. Morrigan and Colfre remained sitting by the bed, their hands now intertwined. No one remembers how their hands eventually got intertwined or who took the hand of the other first but it was a comfortable silence they share. Morrigan looks at her reflection in the vanity. Her eyes gazing at Colfre who was unexpectedly watching her through their reflection in the mirror. She smiled timidly. She heaved a sigh and averted her gaze, looking at the canopy of her bed. Colfre's skin glistened as the soft glow of the moonlight from outside shone on his toned body. Morrigan shut her eyes tightly trying to keep her composure as the giggles and chuckles of the pair in the corner echoes in her ears.
