Damon’s pov

I found her. I can’t believe it. Her I was shopping for a birthday gift for my beta and boom there she is.

My first instinct is to run up to her, but then I remember she ran away from me last time. I need to come up with a plan so I don’t lose her again.

Suddenly she whips her head around and I barely have time to duck behind a display in the store so she doesn’t see me.

“Damn it, that was close.” I mumble.

I take out my phone and carefully peek back out around to where she stands. I take a picture of her. It’s only a side view from where I stand but better than nothing.

I call my beta.

“Greg,” I whisper when he answers “ she’s here, I found her. At the mall, get over here right now. We have to see where she goes and we can’t lose her again.”

“Boss? Why you whispering? I can hardly hear you.” Greg responds.
