“I will come with you, but I have to leave flora and Phil a note at very least. I owe them that much and more for everything they have done for me.” Mary says to Damon.

“You write them a note and pack your things. I will call the pack house and have a room made up for you. Greg is waiting in the car I will get him and he can help load your stuff in the trunk.” Damon smiles and puts his hand on Mary’s shoulder.

“Pack my stuff? But I can’t just leave for good…this is my home.” Mary feels panic setting in at the thought of abandoning the wonderful people who took her in and treated her so well.

“Love, I know you feel like you owe these people, and maybe you do, but I promise you, when you first turn it is going to be painful and you do not want them around for that. You are doing them a favour. Once you adjust, if you want to come back, it will be up to you, but I promise you, I will make sure they have help and won’t hurt for money for all they have done for my mate.”
