Why Was She Acting Clumsy?

Violet's POV

Amelia wasn't planning anything against me like I thought. I had called our director and he said the same thing.

"Dr Violet, use today to arrange your things, you are going to the Clarksville house to take care of his wife. Don't worry you will be paid accordingly" he said.

It was confirmed that I was getting paid to take care of myself. For the first time I saw Jason as a darling. I would stay at home and relax like never before.

I was still thinking and jubilating in my newly found favor when a call came in. It was Joe. Oh, I still owe him an explanation of where I was. Well, what Jason just did now was already an excuse for both him and my family.

"Hey Val, what's going on? I heard you are going on a holiday" he said on the phone.

" Where are you, let's talk?" I asked him.

" Are you okay?" He asked, worriedly.

" Yes. Let's meet at our usual spot"

We scheduled to meet at a restaurant near the hospital since he was working the night shift and that was our favorite spot.
