Chapter 43 - Childhood Sweetheart

“Shut up!” James hollered. “You know nothing!” James darted his gaze to his bodyguard and barked. “Take her home.”

At once two bodyguards dragged Jenny out of the funeral home.

“Pathetic, you are pathetic, James! Loving a hooker like her," Jenny yelled while pointing her finger at Kirsten.

“Stop right there!” Matthew had enough. He wouldn’t let Kirsten humiliated.

“Apologize to my wife.” Matthew ordered.

Jenny was stunned at the revelation but her stubbornness and pride made her callous. She would never apologize to her. “Over my dead body! I will never apologize to a whore. She's a nobody, a woman who sells her body."

“Then, see you in court,” Matthew's countenance gave a hint of the brewing tempest.
