Caroline’s POV

I shifted closer to the campfire as the heat from the campfire cut the coldness of the air. It was dark, I was able to hear the water flowing and the beautiful moon made everything much amazing.

It was late and everyone was in the tent, but I stayed outside because I was not sleepy yet and it felt amazing outside. I felt calm and content, a small smile stretched on my lips as I sighed and closed my eyes for a few seconds.

“Aren't you cold?” my eyes snapped open as I heard Samael’s voice. He walked towards me and placed a blanket around my shoulders.

He wasn’t wearing his glasses again, which made me admire his beautiful eyes and I noticed he was wearing a thick jacket on his casual attire now. He sat next to me looking at the campfire and I looked at him observing his handsome face.
