Angela's Point Of View

With our plan in place, I left the meeting spot and made my way to Vivian's mother's house. As I arrived at the small cottage near the old oak tree, I took a deep breath to steady my nerves. Knocking on the door, I waited anxiously.

Moments later, the door creaked open, revealing an elderly woman with kind eyes. I greeted her politely, "Good afternoon, ma'am."

She regarded me with a curious expression and asked, "Who are you, and who have you come to see?"

"I'm from the hospital," I explained, sticking to the cover story we had discussed. "I'm Doctor Danciana's Assistant. She asked me to check in on your health."

The mention of Doctor Danciana seemed to put her at ease. She stepped aside and gestured for me to enter. "Oh, please, come in, dear."

I walked into the cozy cottage and continued our conversation, trying to maintain the façade. "How have you been feeling lately? Is your health alright?"

The elderly woman smiled, assuring me, "I'm very much fine, dear.
