She didn't seem surprised by that because it was something we kept telling her all week. We wanted nothing to do with her or whatever message she wished to relay to us. We just want her out of the pack, never to return.

Was that too much to demand after everything her father did?

“Please, you have got to listen to me. I promise I won't disturb you after this if you will listen to me,” she begged. “All I seek for is a chance to prove to you I came for something good,” she said with a smile.

I tilted my head to the side, watching us, as I tried to think of what good news she showed up with. I turned to look at my brothers, who lifted their shoulders in a shrug, waiting for me to say something.

'Always leaving everything to me,' I grumbled through our bond.

'What can we say? You are our last baby,' Miles teased, chuckling.

'Bastard!'

They have gotten immune to my curses that they don't react to it anymore. But I'd never gotten used to hearing them refer to me as the youngest.
