He killed himself

I smiled at that before a thought came to mind. I stepped back from him and looked towards the car, at Storm, who was leaning casually on it, with his arms folded and a smile on his face. It was the first time I'd seen an expression that was not a frown on his face.

“Are you two the only ones here?” I turned to Jeremy, raising my eyebrows to accompany the question.

“No, we came with others.” As he spoke, three other vans pulled up. “Is there any problem?” He questioned as his gaze went towards Fred, who was acting like he wanted to disappear.

Had Jeremy not glanced towards him, I would have forgotten about him until it was time to question him about some odd things that happened there.

“Yes. Pascal is —”

Fred held my hand, shaking his head, his eyes wide in fear. “Let's get out of here,” he said urgently, looking at me with large, scared eyes. “Let's leave him and —”

“No, we have to get him.” Removing his hand from mine, I turned to Jeremy. “Follow that path to his hideout. Don't harm
