It happened so fast. Before we could arrive at her side, it had already fallen on her. I doubt we'd yelled as much as we did before when we saw her fall to the ground. With our hearts racing, we rushed over to her. Mitch was the first to reach. He carried her in his arms, and turned, rushing back to the car.

We followed suit, forgetting what we were going to check. At that moment, the only important thing to us was getting our mate to the hospital. That was the only thing we could think of.

I drove the car, while Mike and Mitch sat in the back with her. The fall must have stunned her because she was still unconscious.

“She will be okay,” I heard Mitch mutter as he hugged her tight. “Nothing will happen to them. They will be alright,” he whispered, placing his right palm on her cheek as he rocked. “She will be okay.”
