Just like he promised, it only took him a few minutes to arrive at the hospital. We were still standing outside the door, waiting for the doctor to call us, but there had been nothing of that sort. It was almost as if she forgot we were outside waiting for good news.

“My Alphas,” Jeremy greeted, bowing to us. He had changed out of the outfit he wore earlier today when we checked on the first corpse that surfaced this morning.

From how wet his hair was, it wasn't difficult to know he had just had his bath. Running his hand through his hair, he smiled when he noticed I was looking at him.
