Chapter Nine

The sun's warm rays filtered in through the drawn curtains, effectively waking me from the best sleep I had ever had in a very long time. Slowly opening my eyes, I let out a small, satisfied groan as I stretched. The sound died in my throat once I spotted the individual casually seated beside the glass balcony doors, his beautiful eyes trained on me. 

"What the actual fuck..."

I breathed, momentarily confused by his presence in my room but all my memories returned instantly, reminding me of the man who was my destiny, granted to me by the moon goddess herself. Everything, including our bathroom escapades, was pretty much back and had me absolutely flustered.

You were such an obedient little girl, Alexandra... You need to work harder to fight that unnatural urge to do as it commands...

"You have such a dirty vocabulary. I don't know whether to be in awe of you or to tame you."

Rhys commented, a wide gr
