“DON’T LET GO XAVIER, PLEASE!” I said as I stood in a panic looking at the slope in front of me. The white snow looked so fluffy but for some reason dag claws of fear into my spine. “Don’t worry, I got you, love,” he said soothingly and I took deep breaths. I was desperately trying to look at the slopes as anything other than the flaming pits of hell

“I’ll fall, I’m going to fall Xavier.” I said in a small voice trying to compress the fear that was making my heart jump in my chest.” No, this is a gentle slope for beginners. I won’t let you fall.” he said calmly and I gripped my skiing poles to my sides. “Ok,” I said as I shut my eyes tightly hoping to wake up in a different reality. Xavier's hands were on my waist holding me securely.

This morning Xavier said we were going skiing but I have no idea how to do so which brings us to this situation. This damn situation has me acting like I’m about to sacrifice myself for orphans.
