Suddenly someone dressed in a medic uniform came in. “Alpha Xavier, the luna is asking for you to see her in the next 30 minutes,” she said and Xavier nodded once and dismissed her. “It’s true that you’re the Alpha?” I said as my expression dropped.

He looked at me and then to the ground trying to contemplate an answer that is not yes. “I am,” he said and sighed. “So, why didn’t you tell me?” I asked calmly as I fiddled with my shaky hands. “Sierra, would you allow me to get closer to you if I had told you that I am an alpha? Would you have considered me at all?” he said looking to the floor with sadness in his every word.
