Chapter Thirty One

Ryan's POV :

The ringtone of my damn phone woke me up from my slumber but I ignored it as I should and pulled Pearl closer to me, as humanly possible.

"Ryan, please answer your phone. It's irritating." She said, staying in my embrace.

"No, it will stop ringing in few seconds." True to my words, it stopped but started again with newfound enthusiasm. I swear if I didn't need it, I would have thrown it in the middle of Pacific.

"Ryan, it's from your office." I heard Pearl saying, indicating that she had had enough and received it herself.

I sat up against my wish, and took the phone from her hand. She looked like she wanted to say something but opted saying anything and just got out of the bed.

"Ryan, when are you going to come to the office? It's already 9.30." Natalie said in a breathe.

I looked at the clock and she wasn't wrong, God, how can be I late? And what happened to me yesterday? I had a girlfriend for God's sake.

"Oh, I didn't realise it until now. I'll be there in 20." I info
