I Don't Know

"So, sorry I didn't come last night, the guy at the bar was just too cute, I couldn't pass on that opportunity." Lucky laughed as she walked through the front door of their shared trailer.

"It's okay, the guy you left me with was kind of rude," Cherokee stated as she put her empty cereal bowl in the sink.

"Who, Becket?" Lucky asked as she picked up Cherokee's bowl and filled it with cereal making her way to the plastic round table. "Yeah, he's like that, his brother, Kaleb is so much nicer, but Beck wins in the looks department. So, I got a text from Nick and he wants us to come back tonight."

"Oh, I don't know, I was planning on just relaxing at home." Cherokee turned on the television while sitting back on the older brown sofa.

"Cherry you do that every day, it's Saturday, it's time to let your hair down yeah." Lucky grabbed the bowl and headed to the sofa where she plopped next to her best friend. "Come on, the only person that won't be there is Kaleb, he's got some modeling gig or something."

"Okay, okay, fine." Cherokee giggled as she rested her head on Lucky's shoulder. As the day continued on and the girls spent most of the day watching television seven o'clock rolled around and they headed to their shared room to get ready.

"So, last night you looked so good in that dress, tonight I've got another dress for you, it's red, strapless, and has a very revealing slit." Lucky joked as she raised her eyebrows up and down.

"Oh, stop who in the world am I supposed to impress or look good for?" Cherokee laughed as she pushed Lucky and turned around to get the dress from the small closet they both shared.

"Whoever looks, now go put this on!" Lucky demanded as she started to take off her dark purple robe. "Cherry that looks amazing, I mean everyone will be looking at you."

"Yeah?" Cherokee turned to the side, "You're the one that looks great, I love that dress on you."

"Come on, it's a simple black dress let's finish so we can go." Lucky turned to face the full-length mirror before reaching for the makeup box they both used. "Let's go, Cherry!" She yelled out as she scurried out the door. As they took the thirty-minute drive downtown to this bar for the wealthy, Cherokee wasn't really feeling up to it, but in support of her best friend, she would do just about anything. "Boys," Lucky called out to the same men who were standing in front of the door yesterday.

"Lucky St. Pierre!" Ryan called out from the bar, as he made his way over to them. "And I see you brought Cherokee Rains again." He smiled as he extended his cream-colored hand in her direction.

"Of course, Nick texted me and asked to bring her back." Lucky giggled as they went to the same V.I.P. section as last night.

"Ahh, Lucky you made it," Nick got to his feet kissed her on both cheeks, and escorted her to sit beside him. "Hello, Cherry it's so good to see you again."

"Yes, it is isn't it?" Ryan said as he put his arm around her upper back to squeeze her close to him. "My fiancee isn't here tonight, will you do me the honors in keeping me company?" He whispered in Cherokee's ear.

"Are you trying to flirt with Ms. Rains?" Mark questioned as he raised his perfectly shaped eyebrows in Ryan's direction. "Come now, your fiancee goes missing one day and you are so eager to move to the next available woman? Here, come sit in between Beck and me." He patted the padded seat as he moved over.

"Thank you," Cherokee nodded her head as she made her way through the small passageway to sit in between the two hottest guys she ever laid her dark brown eyes on. "Is he always like that?" She whispered which caused Beck to stifle a laugh before clearing his throat.

"You guys are no fun, besides I've got my eyes on something better at the bar." Ryan winked, combing his blonde hair back with his fingers as he made his way to a tall blonde across the room.

"Yeah, we're no fun," Nick laughed as he turned to face Lucky continuing on with their conversation. "Well, Beck, Cherry, this is where we must bid you adieu,"

"What do you mean?" Beck asked as he laid his phone on the glass table in front of him.

"You know, Mark and I are leaving with Lucky," Nick motioned his eyebrows up and down as he grabbed Lucky's hand while Mark grabbed her other.

"Beck, you'll give Cherry a ride home, won't you?" It was more of a statement as Lucky didn't give him any time to answer before they were off into the loud crowd of people.

"You don't have to give me a ride, I'll get a cab or something," Cherokee answered as she knew he obviously didn't want to talk to her, much less be around her.

"No, no, it's fine, I can take you," He retorted as he picked back up his phone and leaned back on the sofa.

"Aww, where did everyone go?" Ryan joined them back in the V.I.P. section with the blonde he went to talk to earlier.

"Mark and Nick took Lucky back to their place." Becket kept his eyes on his phone, undeterred from Ryan with another woman on his arm.

"So, they left you, Cherry?" Ryan pouted as he slipped his arm from around the girl's shoulders. "Care to come back to my place for a threesome?"

"No, I promised I'd take her home, we were just leaving." Beck stood up, moving in front of Ryan as he held out his arm for Cherokee to take. The first time Cherokee managed to look at his pale blue eyes without him looking at his phone screen.
