CHAPTER 19.1

"Hide, Mayu," she whispered after losing Glenda's gaze.

"Huh? Where?" I asked with confusion.

"Maybe in my panties," she said sarcastically, so I slapped her in the arm.

"Crazy."

I rolled my eyes at her before looking around, but there was nothing to hide other than the slender tree.

I have no choice, and it was just a few steps. Even though I knew I was showing a little, I tried to make myself fit into that tree.

"Just hold on, baby. I won't let your monster father find us," I whispered as I caressed my stomach.

As I looked back, I almost lost my heart after seeing Alice talking to them.

"Just in case, Miss. If you happen to see her here, please notify us," Alaric uttered as he gave a calling card to Alice.

Alice laughed. She seemed to be particularly tense when her hand shook after taking the card.

"A-ll right. But it looks like she's not going to be here. She looks like she has no direction," she commented.
