I tried to direct my gaze away from the four corpses lying on the floor. I searched through my pockets but couldn't find my phone anywhere.

A sound of something being dragged closer made me freeze up again. I turned around to look at the corner door that was wide open. Carleon whistled as he dragged one of Humbert Bale's legs, pulling him back into the room.

His whistle stopped and was replaced by a grin when he saw me again. He effortlessly gathered the fifth victim and placed him beside the others, just like in his narration earlier. Five people murdered for embezzlement of company funds.

"Don't you want to add a sixth victim?" I gritted my teeth as I spoke. Though I had witnessed violence and bloodshed in every kidnapping I've been through, I had never seen a dead body in my life.
