"If you bark a few times, I might just let today's incident slide," Frederick remarked, his eyes narrowed and his expression calm.

Surprisingly, Sebastian actually got down on all fours and barked. "Woof! Woof woof! Mr. Lester, if it means you’ll forgive me, I'll even call you father!"

Frederick curled his lip in disdain. "Forget it! I can't afford to have a son like you."

Jennifer observed in stunned silence from upstairs.

What was happening? She had encountered Sebastian before. He was undeniably an arrogant, rich kid. And now he had actually humbled himself to this extent? It was truly bewildering.

Donovan approached. "Jennifer, Mr. Lambert has invited us for tea on the third floor. I managed to arrange this opportunity for you after some difficulty."

"Mr. Lambert?"

When the Tiger Faction was mentioned, a subtle unease crept into Jennifer's heart. Nevertheless, she nodded resolutely, trusting Donovan.

"All right! Hold onto my bag. I'll be right back from the restroom."
