Junia took in a deep breath, squeezing her eyes shut before her eyes flicked open. She darted her eyes in my direction while I stared at her through the rear mirror.

“Are you enjoying your ride?” I teased.

She exhaled sharply in an attempt to contain her rage. “Before I even get started, how did you find me? How did you know where I was?”

I smiled at her despite the deep frown plastered on her face. “Since you didn’t want to listen to me. I hired someone to look after you, someone who can protect you when I am not there” I replied.

She raised a brow in confusion. “What you are saying is that you hired someone to protect me? From what exactly? What the hell is wrong with you, Ethan? How hard is it difficult for you to understand that I want nothing to do with you”
