Chapter 55
I panicked as I felt myself gasping for air. My legs thrashed around while I tried to slap my father’s hands away.
His hold on me only tightened. I felt my head pinched with pain as he pulled some strands of my hair harshly.
I kept thrashing around, in hope that I might escape his wrath.
“Please dad -” I screamed in pain when he threw me down by the small squared table in the middle of the arranged sofas.
This time, I heard my voice. I did not hesitate to scream and yell for help as I tried to escape my father’s grasp.
He caught my hair once again and knocked my head into the table.
I felt dizzy as my belly churned with pain.
I could feel something warm sliding down the side of my face. Blood!
I tasted the metallic taste of it once it reached the side of my lips.
