Ryder’s point of view:

The moment the girls left with Lea, I sighed before standing up.

I cleared up the kitchen table and washed the dirty dishes.

I could hear them giggling and talking but I could not make out what they were talking about when I got upstairs into my bedroom.

I made up my bed as my mind flashed back to last night.

I remembered rushing out of my bedroom once I heard her gut wrenching screams.

I bursted into her room to find her thrashing around as she grabbed onto her hair.

She was having a nightmare.

I needed to wake her up. She was having a panic attack. It almost looked like she was having a seizure.

She was having hard time breathing. She kept gasping for air.

I tried shaking her awake but she kept on wailing and screaming at her father to stop.
