Chapter 54

Soon a week was up and Cole reluctantly returned to Avondale Hotel. With Brittany gone, he had no desire to continue to be the host of the show. The truth was he only agreed because of Brittany, he figured his absence would give Sean the confidence to flirt with her that’s why he agreed to do it. Now that he had sent her away the show had no meaning to it, there was no passion, no excitement whatsoever. He turned to Naya in the car and stared at her for a while before talking.

“Naya,” he said softly.

Naya who was still upset with him for about a week now stared at him with displeasure in her eyes.

“I want to pull out of the show” he announced to her. She sat up looking shocked.

“Why?”

“I’m not in the best of health… and it’ll start showing in my performance” he lied.

“What’s wrong with you? It must be all the drugs Luna has been feeding you with” Naya stated “I told you to stay away from that girl”

“Okay, so can I quit now?” Cole asked.

“Cole we signed a contract if you pull o
