The next day after getting that invitation card from Dad’s study, Jade, Nina and I went for dress shopping. We were attended to quickly and after searching for a perfect dress, I finally found one. It was a black dress with spaghetti hands and I immediately fell in love with it.

After that, we went shoe and bag shopping before having lunch at a restaurant then went back to the mansion.

Dad gave me a list of those attending the ball and I had to memorize them and know every freaking one of them. According to Dad, he was the one behind the project like he was the one funding the company in California and also the one pointing out where to invest or not.

I was surprised with that news but overall it was expected that Dad was super rich.
