Cathy scoffed and left Tony’s office. She went to the bathroom and called her mother.

“Hey, darling, have you found Daniel?”

“No Mom, his assistant was just giving me attitude. He did not tell me anything important.”

“Why would Daniel do that to you? I thought that he already knew how you feel about him. What is the meaning of him canceling the lunch date without even giving you a heads-up?”
