What the fuck? Did the thing just speak to me?

Shocked by the unexpected response, I freeze, my hand still suspended in midair. I stare at Flutter, unable to comprehend what just happened.

Could it have actually spoken to me? "Did... did you just speak?" I stammer again, my voice filled with disbelief.

Flutter looks up at me with its wide eyes, seemingly innocent and oblivious to the profound impact of its words. It emits a soft chirping sound as if it's trying to communicate further.

I lean in closer, my curiosity overriding my initial surprise. "Can you understand me?" I ask.

Flutter responds by nuzzling against my hand and emitting a series of melodic chirps as if acknowledging my question. "Well, talk to me again," I urge Flutter.

"No."

I freeze, my heart pounding in my chest as I hear the whisper once more.

"You just spoke again!" I mutter, my voice laced with confusion.

Flutter continues to emit its soft chirping sounds, but there are no further attempts at communication.
