Is This Real?

Eira and Damon glided down the hallway in long strides as I slumped along behind them; my mind in a blur. My mother and father were never friendly to me, but I still loved them and the thought they knew about this wrapped my brain in barbed wire causing a migraine. We reached the end of the mossy stone hall and came to an abrupt stop in front of a massive painting that covered the entire wall. The painting was of a tall wrinkly old man in royal blue robes.
