Taking Over

When the psychiatrist arrived she rushed me out of the room and as the door clicked shut I instantly felt Damons emotional turmoil raise up through our bond again. I knew our bond couldn’t fix the pain that wedged itself into his heart but if being near him made it better I didn’t want to leave his side. I paced anxiously back and forth in the hall outside our room until the therapist re-emerged.

“Do you have his meds? He’ll need to take them now. He’s going to be out of it for a few days until his body gets used to the dosages again and that’s completely normal. Any mood swings he may feel over the next few days are too be expected as well. He should be back to himself in a few days, when he is have him call me and set up an appointment.” She said using a long serious pause before starting up again. “He wants to tell you things that he holds close to his chest but he’s afraid of your reaction. He’s asking for you, try to control your own emotions so you don’t set him off”
