102. Dangerous Speech

I sat barefoot on the beach with Adipati beside me. I let the soft white sand touch the skin of my feet which felt stiff. I looked up at the bright blue sky. Luckily, the sun wasn't too bright right now.

"If it's too hard, let fate guide you! Don't push yourself too hard," Adipati said slowly. The man was sitting beside me, looking at me with an unusual look.

"I'll remember," I said simply.

"If you're too tired, let him go!" he said again.

I turned to Adipati, watching the man's face closely. Too bad a guy as handsome as he has to fall in love with a girl like me—the girl with a million problems.

He should have fallen in love with another girl who was beautiful, kind, and understanding.

"Even if this love kills me, I will survive. Kenan is my life; without him, I could die," I said casually.

Kenan gave me a reason to live, so there's no way I could let him go.

"Are you sure you can be happy with him? He doesn't look like he can make you happy! If I were him, I wouldn't let you cry!" A
