Chapter 38: Tease
The knocking sound on the front door of Jilly’s house could be heard by everyone in the living room. They had finished with breakfast and now they were just lounging on the couch minus Antonio, he had to go because work needed him.
“I’ll go,” Jilly volunteered to be the one to open the door. Cayne helped her get off the couch and watched her walk away to get to the door. They were not expecting any guests because nobody was excited to get the door. So, as the house owner, Jilly initiatively be the one to be responsible for that.
Pulling the door open, Jilly was surprised by the guest. But then, a wide grin made its way to her lips making the guest confused.
