Chapter 39: Again
“Don’t you think that she looked familiar like you’ve seen her once or twice?” Jilly asked him as they were laying down on the bed in their room, Grace was fast asleep in her room. “Cayne!” She snapped at him as she didn’t hear any answer. When she turned to look at him, turned out he was busy with his phone. Jilly could see that he was doing business.
“Sorry,” he quickly apologize and put his phone down. “Her?” He asked to make sure that he got what she was talking about.
“Leira.” She sighed and understand that Cayne had a business to run even from abroad. “I feel like I have seen her before but never really met her.”
“She does look familiar. Feels like I saw her in a nightclub when I visited one in French.” Cayne replied. Looking back at Leira, he only saw her briefly at the hospital but today, he got to see her up close and for a while.
“She is from French,” Jilly confirmed.
