Kira's pov

I laid there with my eyes wide open. I was shocked at how he spoke.

Words refused to leave my lips at the moment, and it took a while before my senses came pouring in.

The fact that he had just called Aric his step brother made me aware of the fact that the existing tension between them could be as a result of whatever I had just found out.
