Xander's POV

The moment I saw Ellie approaching, I felt disgust well up inside of me. It was almost as though she had washed herself in mud. The feeling was unexplainable.

It wasn't as if I liked her in the first place but this was more of disgust. There was nothing wrong in her moving around since I was the one who allowed it in the first place but right now, I felt like she just had to leave no matter what my father said.

She smiled when she crossed the threshold and I stared at her blankly, there was no way that I was going to take her seriously. She could try to do all she could but all that I could feel for her was resentment.
